Data Deletion — ViralWeaver

If you want ViralWeaver to delete the personal data we hold about you or an account you control, follow the instructions below. You can use our self-service form or submit a deletion request by email. We will acknowledge your request, provide a confirmation code, and give you a status URL so you can verify completion.

Include any social media page or profile IDs that were connected to your ViralWeaver account

Security Reminder

We will never ask you for your account password, access tokens, or two-factor authentication codes. If anyone claiming to be ViralWeaver support requests these, do not provide them and notify us immediately.

Use the subject line: "Delete my ViralWeaver data" and include the required verification details (see verification section below).

• Optional: brief statement confirming you request deletion of all data associated with the account.

If you used Facebook / Meta Login or connected Facebook pages

  • • Optional: remove the ViralWeaver app from your Facebook account: Facebook > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites > Remove "ViralWeaver."
  • • If you remove the app and Facebook issues a platform deletion notice to us, we will process that notice the same as a direct request.

What will be deleted

When we delete an account or user data we will remove:

  • • Content you uploaded or provided to ViralWeaver (images, text, media, drafts).
  • • Stored posting credentials/tokens used by ViralWeaver to publish on your behalf (revoked or deleted where possible).
  • • Profile identifiers and linked account metadata stored for the account.
  • • Activity logs and scheduling metadata associated with the account, except where limited retention is required (see section below).

Retention exceptions and legal requirements

We may retain limited information if required by law, to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or complete transactions already in process. If we must retain data, we will:

  • • Explain which specific data will be retained, and why; and
  • • Limit use of retained data to the narrow purpose permitted by law.

Confirmation & tracking

After we receive and verify your request we will:

  • • Send an acknowledgement (by email) containing a unique confirmation code.
  • • Send a final confirmation that deletion was completed.

If we cannot verify the request

If we cannot verify your identity from the information provided, we will contact you with instructions for additional verification. We will not delete an account based on unverifiable requests.

Disputes & appeals

If you receive a deletion confirmation but believe some data remains, reply to support@viralweaver.com with your confirmation code and details. We will investigate and, if appropriate, correct or complete the deletion.
